Chandramukhi Celebrates 890 days of Completion |

‘Chandramukhi' has completed 890 days and finally Shanthi Theater has stopped the screening of the film and the film has been released in four theaters of Chennai for the second time. The blockbuster ‘Chandramukhi' of Superstar Rajinikanth was released on April 14 th , 2005 and created many records at the box office. It celebrated its 300 th day in seven theaters. The film was produced by actor Prabhu and also acted in the film with Rajini. a 50 year old record for being the longest running film in Tamil. Chandramukhi after completing 800 th day broke the record of the film ‘Haridass'. This achievement was celebrated by Shivaji Films, the producer of ‘Chandramukhi' along with Tamil Film Producer's Council. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi was also one among the members who participated in the function. |

Vidyasagar recorded the first song of Chandramukhi in Chennai. Rajinikanth was present during the composition of the entire song. The lyrics are by Pa.Vijay and S.P.Balasubramanium rendered his voice. |
